Sulut – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengaku tidak ingin mengomentari keputusan Mahkamah Agung (MA) yang menolak Peninjauan Kembali (PK) Baiq Nuril, guru honorer SMA Negeri 7 Mataram, NTB, yang dijatuhi hukuman 6 bulan penjara dan denda Rp500 juta karena merekam percakapak telepon berisi pelecehan seksual oleh atasannya, Kepala SMAN 7 Mataram, tahun 2012 lalu.
“Saya tidak ingin mengomentari apa yang sudah di putuskan oleh mahkamah, karena itu pada domain wilayahnya yudikatif,” kata Presiden Jokowi saat berada di Pangkalan TNI AU Sam Ratulangi, Manado, Sulawesi Utara (Sulut), Jumat (5/7) siang.
Namun, nanti kalau sudah masuk ke wilayah dirinya, Presiden berjanji akan menggunakan kewenangan yang dimilikinya.
“Saya akan bicarakan dulu dengan Menteri Hukum dan HAM, dengan Jaksa Jgung dengan Menko Polhukam untuk menentukan apakah amnesti (pengampunan) apakah yang lainnya,” tegas Presiden.
Kepala Negara menegaskan, sejak awal kasus Baiq Nuril ini mencuat perhatiannya tidak berkurang. Namun Kepala Negara Negara menghormati keputusan yang sudah di tetapkan oleh Mahkamah. “Itu bukan pada wilayah eksekutif,” ujarnya.
Untuk itu, Presiden Jokowi mempersilakan Baiq Nuril mengajukan amnesti secepatnya. “Boleh (mengajukan amnesti), secepatnya,” kata Presiden Jokowi.
Sebelumnya Baiq Nuril telah mengajukan permohonan PK dengan Nomor 83PK/Pid.Sus/2019, namun permohonan PK itu ditolak oleh MA.
